This policy covers the Aurora website. It does not cover the Android app or the music services you connect to it.

No advertising, analytics or visitor profiles. You can browse without an account. Live project activity comes from GitHub, and the site keeps a local copy of that public data to reduce repeat requests.
What stays in your browser.
Feature searches, tone previews, theme previews and the tag-editing example run in the page. Their values are not submitted to us or saved between visits.
The website does not read your music files, server logins, library or listening history from the Aurora Android app. Fonts and app screenshots are served with the website; they do not load from a font or analytics service.
Live GitHub activity.
The home and updates pages request public release information, download counts, stars, commits and contributor details from GitHub. Contributor images can also load from GitHub. These connections give GitHub your IP address and normal browser connection details.
API requests do not send your GitHub login credentials. We use this public information to display project activity, not to identify visitors. GitHub processes requests under its privacy statement, including its retention and international transfer practices.
Local storage.
The site saves public GitHub data, refresh times and retry information in your browser. This keeps repeat visits responsive and reduces requests when GitHub is unavailable or limits traffic. It is not a visitor identifier or browsing profile.
The site checks for fresh data after ten minutes. The saved copy does not automatically disappear after ten minutes; it remains until replaced or cleared by you or your browser. See the cookie and browser storage policy for details.
Website delivery.
Porkbun hosts this website. It receives the connection information needed to deliver a page, such as your IP address, requested file and browser headers, and may keep access or security logs. The website’s code does not include visitor analytics or a visitor database.
Provider handling and retention are described in Porkbun’s privacy policy. We do not promise that hosting requests leave no records.
Reports, contributions and downloads.
Issue reports, feature requests, pull requests and APK downloads open GitHub. If you submit a report or contribution, your GitHub profile and the content you share may be public and remain in the project’s history. We use that information to discuss, reproduce and resolve issues or review contributions.
Only share information needed for the report. Remove passwords, access tokens and private server addresses from screenshots and logs. GitHub’s own terms and privacy controls apply when you use its services.
Your choices.
You can clear this site’s browser storage at any time. Blocking storage leaves the site usable, though live statistics may require more requests. Disabling JavaScript prevents the live GitHub activity from loading; the feature guide and download links remain available.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its use, and complain to your local data protection authority. GitHub provides its own controls and request process for information held by its services.

If you message us, we use the profile and information you share to respond and handle your request. Messages may remain in the service’s conversation history. Discord and Telegram apply their own privacy rules. Avoid sending passwords or unnecessary personal details.
